Are you looking for an eye-catcher in your interior? Then we at Anyway Doors have the ideal solution to make a unique design statement in your interior.

Anyway’ s pivoting hinges are equipped with a high-tech comfort closure, which actively works in both swing directions. These innovative hinges make it possible to tailor make a glass pivot door up to 5.5m², that feels as light as a feather. The Anyway philosophy allows the door to open in all possible directions. The hinges can pivot eccentrically or centrally (360°), as desired.

Depending on the selected model, the pivot door can be made from various types of glass. Due to the wide range available, we strongly recommend a visit to one of the showrooms to ensure that you are aware of all possible options when making your choice. Transparency and maintenance aspects are also issues to take into account when making your choice.

glass pivoting walls

Pivoting hinges without built-in floor fixtures

The pivot hinge is mounted nearly invisible on the finished floor surface, without any integrated floor fixtures. The minimal local floor anchoring (2 bolts +-4cm deep) allows for easy installation on any type of floor even when equipped with underfloor heating systems. During development, a great deal of attention went into ease of installation and user-friendliness so that the resulting pivot door could be used in either new or existing homes, regardless of the floor construction. The invisible hinges are fully integrated into the glass door frame or the rectangle glass mounted hinges.

Offset or central axis pivot point?

This pivot hinge is designed to create both offset and central axis pivoting doors. An eccentric pivot door setup results in a 1/3 ratio for the pivot point mounting. These pivot doors close soundlessly by means of patented locking technology integrated in the door frame. The male (convex) part consists of a synthetic profile on the door leaf or it’s represented by the glass edge itself; the synthetic fitting in the aluminium door frame is the female (concave) part. Every Anyway door can therefore be set to open 90°, or 180°/360°. Even with doors swinging up to 180°/360°, this guarantees perfect closure and positioning.

Pivoting glass doors with clear glass

Modern glass pivot doors made with transparent tempered glass. After a pre-treatment, tempered glass undergoes thermal treatment in an oven. This gives the glass volume greater flexural breaking strength as well as shock and thermal resistance. Tempered glass is up to five times stronger than standard glass. In the event of breakage, the glass shatters into small pieces. Tempered glass is currently used in two possible pivot setups.

The most popular system (SKD47) consist of an aluminium frame (silver or black anodized) with 6mm tempered clear glass. The second option is a 10mm thick glass sheet with rectangle glass mounted hinges, were the actual door frame acts as an acoustic and thermal seal.

Both systems give you a perfectly closing unit that still provides transparency between the different rooms when used in conjunction with the patented locking technology fitted inside the surrounding door frame.

Pivoting doors with matte glass

Glass pivot doors with matte etched glass (frosted)

Etched glass is treated with a chemical corrosive liquid. This makes the glass matte on one side by etching in a fine structure with shallow indentations. So this frosted finish is relatively easy in terms of maintenance, and doesn’t require any further treatment. Cleaning can be done with all sorts of products except corrosive and abrasive ones. A good quality microfiber cloth and water is usually sufficient. Etched glass is also referred to as "frosted" glass. This type of glass can be used in all our pivot systems.

Special glass types

Special features such as coloured or structured glass are also available. Coloured glass (grey or dark grey) is popular in combination with the black anodized aluminium frame.

Other glass variations such as extra clear etched glas, leavened glass are also on display in our showroom.

steel and glass pivot door

Steel Look pivot doors

Our popular "Steel Look" collection is used to create timeless pivot doors that fit in a wide range of interior styles. The old school steel look is remastered by Anyway with black anodized aluminium. This results in a lightweight pivoting door, custom-made from a combination of modern materials such as anodized aluminium and 6mm of tempered glass. Most clients choose clear glass with or without aluminium grid lines on the glass. Various other popular glass types such as matte or colored glass can also be mounted in the black frame.

compact self-closing pivot door hinge

Stealth Pivot - pivot hinge technology

Stealth pivot is an innovative pivot door hinge system, that can be fitted inside virtually any door leaf. The compact pivot hinge features a high-tech self-closing mechanism that works in all swing directions up to 360°. When fitted and installed, the hinge remains invisible, hence the name "Stealth Pivot".

The hinges make it possible to create extra large pivot doors, that feel as light as a feather. The normal version is designed for pivot doors up to 75 kg and features an adjustable offset axis point that can be set up at either 80 mm or 178 mm.

The XL version is designed for large pivot doors up to 150 kg. The axis can be positioned at 1/3 or in the centre, with a configurable swing operation of 180° or 360° like a carrousel.
