SLIDE-A-WAY sliding doors are thoughtfully and practically designed. With high-quality design we aspire to merge austere lines with technical refinement in a timeless way. The modern sliding door systems of Anyway are distinguished by a compact design with invisibly integrated techniques and an extremely high-quality finish.
Anyway recently launched a new rail system with integrated soft-close brake technology, which contributes to user-friendliness, stability and safe operation. The intended function, location and set-up are important design aspects and determine the choice of material and the desired sliding wall type. The aluminium rail system is designed to be attached both to the wall and to the ceiling, depending on the chosen arrangement and the space available.
The sliding system is fitted with a local floor guide so that nothing obstructs or is visible in the doorway. In order to avoid problems with situations in which a sliding door slides between two walls, a new rail system was developed in which the sliding wall can be removed on one side, in the doorway. Provided that the right preparations are made, all technology including the soft-close brake system will remain within reach in your doorway. So there is never any need to adjust or replace anything between the two walls!
SLIDE-A-WAY sliding doors are fully custom-made and can be finished with a wide range of materials. The range varies from glass sliding doors with various types of glass to fully finished "full" sliding door panels. The full sliding doors are constructed of aluminium, Resopal Massiv (3mm HPL) and a special PU compound to guarantee a flat and stable door panel. Anyway sliding doors are always fully finished, which makes them maintenance-friendly, colourfast and highly scratch-resistant. They also never need to be painted. Some 35 different colours and wood imitation finishes are available. Colour samples are available at our showrooms.
A sliding glass door can be offered in 2 compositions. The most austere version consists of 10 mm thick tempered glass. This sliding door can be offered in various types of glass, varying from clear glass, acidified glass, sandblasted glass with patterns to coloured glass types that may or may not have an acidified matt surface to limit views.
The other option is an anodised aluminium frame, which can be finished in black or natural colour. Depending on the type of glass chosen, 6 to 8 mm thick tempered glass is inserted. The popular "steel look" concept is also offered as a sliding door with this profile. As an option, aluminium subdivisions can be placed on the glass. A wide range of glass types is also available in this composition.
The ideal place for a sliding door concept is, for example, between living space and kitchen or between living space and office. Locations that may fit together, but where an occasional optical closure is desired that takes up as little space as possible.
Sliding walls are very trendy, but they are less appropriate between locations with high passageways or increased acoustic and thermal requirements, such as between hallway and living room.
Also in terms of user comfort a revolving door is much more interesting between kitchen and storage room than a sliding door. A sliding door is difficult to open with things in your hands, whereas a revolving door of Anyway can be opened completely hands-free due to the absence of classical handles etc.
Due to the complexity that sometimes accompanies sliding doors, it is advisable to visit a showroom in your area, where all possibilities are clearly displayed. In order to make a detailed offer, a correct analysis of your expectations and the technical set-up is required, and our advisors can advise you perfectly on this. Prepare for your visit and be sure to bring a plan or sketch and possibly some photos of the room.
