The Belgian door manufacturer Anyway Doors is specialised in modern custom-made swing doors. The swing door concept is offered in various versions with numerous technical and practical advantages compared to a classic inner door system. The swing door technique is standard incorporated in all interior doors that come from the Antwerp "Atelier". Each swing door is fully custom-made. The wide range includes both fully finished interior doors and glass doors.
During the development of the unique hinge system, the door leaf and the frames, attention was mainly paid to high-tech and low-maintenance materials. The swing doors are always fully finished and therefore cannot be painted! The door leaf is highly scratch-resistant and resistant to the most common chemical substances, which makes the doors ideal for use with children in the house. The wide range of colours available from Resopal guarantees a timeless colour choice that fits perfectly into your interior. Various wood finishes are also possible as well as special prints such as leather and linen.
The wide product range is divided into different door variants, namely "normal swing doors" and "pivoting swing doors". Both can be combined with 3 different frame systems. At Anyway the first choice is the type of frame and door style and only then the actual door itself is chosen, since every door can be placed in every type of frame.
The most popular system at the moment is the so-called "built-in frame" where your door is invisibly incorporated in the wall at the end of the day. These doors without frame are hip and current, but Anyway Doors has been offering them since 1995. A built-in frame requires the necessary preparations so that the system can be installed correctly and in the right way. Meanwhile a tried and tested system, where especially the central and stable mounting on the wall guarantees a beautiful finish without cracks in the future!
You read it correctly, the door leaf is deliberately suspended centrally in the wall and not on one side as is the case with conventional systems on the market. The advantages of this working method are, in addition to the fact that nothing can tear or crack, that you see exactly the same door on both sides and no deep and shallow sides as is the case with conventional systems. The modular character of Anyway doors ensures that your swing door opens in both directions and can, if desired, be locked in one direction. The hinges can also easily be changed sides if necessary. So your door will never be an obstacle to future adaptations or changes of use throughout your home. After all, it is a purchase that should last a lifetime!
The most sold Swing Door system of Anyway is made with an aluminium block frame, also called block frame or block door. This system is simple in terms of preparation and also much cheaper than a completely invisible door system. The end result is still a sleek swinging door without any door frames. As you can see on the photos, the "invisible" effect is almost achieved and this system has many practical advantages in terms of execution and for your wallet.
You have to finish the doorways as if no doors were being installed, which means plastering the entire inside of the opening and also completely laying the floors before measuring. Only the skirting boards on the inside need to be placed afterwards, all other things need to be completely finished before. Simple, budget-friendly and a clean end result with a modular, practical and durable interior door.
All frames are offered in natural aluminium or a black finish in order to provide a timeless concept, optimised for current interior design trends. Indeed, black is touted as "the new white". The unique closing technology and the entire frame system are available in a matt black or silver finish. The door leaf is always finished with 3 mm thick Resopal Massiv (volkern) in a matt or satin finish. There is a choice of around 35 different colours. This makes the swinging door very scratch-resistant, easy to wash and chemically resistant. Other features such as finger trap protection, invisible ventilation and hinges with integrated spring techniques are standard novelties of Anyway.
The invisibly integrated pivot hinges have a built-in high-tech spring system that allows the swing door to swing in all directions. The pivoting swing doors can optionally swing in both directions or be limited to one side. If the pivoting door is installed centrally, the door can rotate endlessly in all directions = child-friendly installation. With an eccentric pivoting door, a 1/3 ratio is used. The door is automatically held in place at 90° when fully open. Due to customisation, panels up to 5,5m² and a maximum of 150kg can be made with this system.
