Pivoting door with functional added value by Anyway Doors

An Anyway Doors pivoting door is always made-to-measure and designed so it can be used anywhere. The pivoting hinge works without built-in elements in the floor or ceiling, which creates a broad field of application. The pivoting doors were developed for use in both new buildings and renovation projects. The invisible hinges are fixed on top of the floor so that the system is fixed on top of the existing floor (or the floor to be laid).

These pivoting doors can therefore also be placed perfectly in combination with classic floor heating. The fastening of the 2 small bolts takes place maximum 4cm deep! With a closed door, the fastening is invisible.

Invisible pivot hinges

The integrated pivoting hinge has a built-in high-tech spring system that allows the door to open in all directions. The pivoting door can optionally open in both directions or be restricted to one side. The direction of rotation can easily be changed after installation. If the pivoting door is installed centrally, the door can rotate infinitely in all directions. A centrally pivoted door is the most child-friendly and safest set-up. The door is automatically held in place at 90° when fully open. Due to customisation, it is possible to create panels of up to 5.5 m² and up to 150 kg with this system, depending on the chosen finishes.

Easy installation and flexibility are probably its greatest strengths

Anyway Doors is a manufacturer that focuses on innovative systems with a well thought-out and functional design. The pivoting hinges are therefore completely invisibly integrated in the door leaf. The fixing is done on top of the floor, without floor springs or built-in elements, so you don't have to take anything into account! The minimum floor anchoring with 2 bolts is about 4.5 cm deep and makes the system possible on top of floor heating. Throughout the entire development process, attention was paid to a flexible application for both new buildings and renovations, regardless of the existing floor structure.

Do you want an eccentric pivoting door or a centrally pivoting door?

The door can be pivoted either excentrically or centrally. The minimum distance between the mounting point and the wall is 85 mm. In the case of an eccentrically pivoted door, a 1/3 ratio is recommended because a stable whole can be guaranteed. A centrally pivoting door has the advantage that the door leaf is perfectly balanced and can rotate infinitely. This is the simplest and most child-friendly arrangement. An eccentrically pivoting door creates a dangerous leverage effect on the short side of the door leaf.

With small children in the house, you should always be careful with an eccentric set-up because of this leverage effect! Something to think about for sure.

Normal Anyway internal doors have a finger trap protection at the back of the door as standard, which is not the case for pivoting doors. Common sense and a well-considered set-up are therefore important points of attention. In our Flagship Store in Massenhoven, we have a number of different configurations available so that you can select the one that best suits your needs and can be optimally used in your interior. Our staff will be happy to assist you in your choice and will also provide specific advice.

What kind of pivoting doors does Anyway offer?

Pure customisation is already a strong starting point. There is a wide choice of "full", fully finished panels and various glass panels. The "full" panels are ready finished with a Resopal Massiv final finish, which provides a stable, scratch-resistant, maintenance-free and low-paint surface. The Resopal selection offers a wide choice of 35 different solid colours and wood finishes. The ready-to-paint finish guarantees that your pivot door remains stable and straight; this is impossible to guarantee with a surface that has to be painted!

Glass pivoting doors

A glass pivoting door can be made in various ways. You can opt for a 10 mm thick monolithic glass pane with a stylistic block at the top and bottom in which the hinges are concealed or for an aluminium frame in which one or more glass plates are incorporated. The pivoting glass walls with an aluminium frame provide an improved seal against drafts, acoustics and heat. It is also safer with children in the house as the frame absorbs a possible impact and not the glass directly.

The aluminium frame, as well as the various frames, can be made of natural aluminium or black anodised aluminium. In terms of glass, there are various choices: from clear, coloured, acidified or sandblasted to special laminated (pure white) or lacquered high-gloss (white/black/grey) options.

The added value of Anyway Doors pivoting doors is in the perfect seal

In contrast to a classic pivoting door solution, the pivoting doors of Anyway Doors always have a (hidden) frame around the door in anodised aluminium (natural or black). This frame provides for the fixing of the pivoting hinges at the top, without having to build in or fix elements in the ceiling. The mostly minimalistic frames in combination with Anyway's unique closing technique also provide a perfect seal around the door against drafts, acoustics and heat loss. A traditionally designed door on a pin or floor spring has a large gap (read: minimum 10 mm) around the door leaf.

Anyway doors are also provided with fully integrated ventilation so that your pivot door complies with the pre-written ventilation standards. All Anyway frames can be used for a pivoting door. So you can choose from a visible frame (renovation) with various removable door frames, a minimalist block frame (fully plastered door opening) or an invisible build-in frame (has to be built in after installation).
