The answer: as soon as possible! The importance of interior doors is underestimated and they are often put off. In today's homes, people often opt for "invisible interior doors", which requires the necessary planning and follow-up. Informing yourself in time is therefore the key to avoiding frustration. Interior doors can make or break your interior, they are not only a functional element, but they also occupy a nice surface of the walls. Doors determine your interior to a large extent and, depending on the chosen system, they create a good or bad seal against acoustics, heat and draughts.

The above questions all affect the structural and functional requirements for your ideal door solution. For example, a revolving interior door will be much more functional than a sliding door, especially with children in the house. In addition, hinged doors offer increased acoustic and thermal shielding because they close much better than sliding doors.

The choice of internal doors with or without a frame will have a significant impact on building services and site supervision.
If you choose an inner door with an invisible frame, an installation system has to be provided right from the building shell. The door frames for invisible inner doors are placed in the shell of the building before the plastering so they can be neatly built in. As a manufacturer, Anyway resolutely opts for a central mounting position in relation to the wall thickness so that the frame is stable and firmly anchored. The view is therefore identical on both sides of the door, which guarantees visual peace. This central positioning prevents tearing and cracking, something that can never be guaranteed by manufacturers with flush-fitting doors!
Good preparation and site monitoring are indispensable in these systems.
The most popular door principle at Anyway Doors is the aluminium block frame, with which minimalistic block doors are made to measure that also create a frameless effect. This concept is budget-friendly and the entire door opening (inside/side) has to be finished by the occupant. The end result is sleek, simple and timeless. This is also the ideal solution for the popular ceiling-high inner doors.

In recent years, the trend towards high interior doors and ceiling-high interior doors has been noticeable. If you want high doors, this will usually have to be provided for in the shell construction. Anyway Doors renewed its entire door leaf composition as an answer to the increasing height in modern inside doors.
The most important thing with high doors is to choose a flat and extremely stable door leaf, which will not "settle" over time. Warping is not unknown with wood-based products, which is why we only manufacture our door leaves with stable materials such as anodised aluminium and Resopal Massiv (volkern). Everything is made to measure anyway, both in terms of composition and dimensions, which creates the necessary personalisation. The maximum height for a door panel is 3050 mm.
Even higher doors can be made with an identical fixed panel or a contrasting glass top panel. As a normal door height, we promote the European standard that advises 2150mm (structural opening), but as said, everything is custom made so lower is not an issue.

Almost all conventional doors are equipped with a lock. In practice, most locks are hardly ever used. We therefore recommend locks on toilets, bathrooms and basements in residential environments, for reasons of privacy or security (basements = children). Take a good look at each internal door and see whether a lock will provide functional added value. If your home will house an office or practice, then you should also take a look at the possible locks. In addition to child-friendly privacy locks, Anyway also offers a simple key lock or a full cylinder lock, with or without multipoint locking system, for its internal doors.

Do you opt for solid core interior doors that will neatly separate the rooms from each other or do you opt for glass doors that will create transparency and light incidence between the rooms in your home. Glass doors are often used in a contemporary interior because, in addition to being a beautiful eye-catcher, they provide extra transparency and light. Your beautiful entrance hall, designer kitchen or impressive staircase should be seen, then Anyway Doors offers a nice thermal and acoustic barrier, while maintaining optimal transparency between the rooms. The custom-made glass doors can be fitted with clear, acidified or sandblasted glass. With acidified or sand-blasted glass you retain an optical barrier, but there is still a nice 80% light incidence between the rooms.

Sliding doors are hip and trendy and like to be drawn in by architects, but this does not mean that they will guarantee the user comfort of interior doors. They are ideal as an optical screen between two rooms or to close off a cupboard. They never offer the comfort and sealing that normal interior doors can. The acoustic and thermal insulation of a normal interior door will be many times higher than a sliding door with the necessary gaps. Sliding doors are a creative solution as a partition between a living room and office, living room and kitchen or to a dressing room.
We do not recommend them for places with a high passageway such as between the hall and living room or between your kitchen and storage room. The intended function, location and arrangement are decisive for the choice of material and type of sliding door. In terms of user comfort, a revolving door is much more pleasant than a sliding door. Think of the hands-free opening of an Anyway door. In case of a sliding door you will have to open it very creatively with your hands full, as it requires an unusual sideways manipulation. Children usually leave sliding doors open when they walk through them, which leads to frustration and loss of heat...
